My other 2 cents... Sorry for being so "Chatty" and possibly off the subject of... Kung Fu... if there is such a thing, since, KF is a "WAY OF LIFE," huh? Today in the shower, I was doing KF; not Small Cross but working on basic stances, including "Cat" with a slightly shampooed/conditioner... bathtub: I like challenge ;D I was wiping down the walls and glass doors with stances, a bit lower than ours, (Northern... Southern... I don't know. DIDN'T THE Northern monks flee to the South? ) Anyway, here is the "Chinese Karate Kid" wiping Right and Left... like the Japanese Karate kid... with a window wiper. Result: GREAT WORKOUT with lower stances, just to make sure I would not slip and fall. The walls of the tub gave my feet some support. Also... after begging "Teach" for a "Snow Shovel FORM" this past winter... I made up my own "Rake dirt, water and plan a rice patty on hill... for a crop of wild rice, in my region. Wild rice... to be more precise, is a "cousin" of rice as we know it. Clay hold water and Modoc clay is what I have. Just in case I have to live off the land, Rice and Fava beans should go well together. Hey... that was more that 2 cents worth... guess you owe me! ;D CHAPTER II: OK... now progress report from "Where the West still Lives." I still move too hard and need to relax between important move. My breathing is good. Accuracy and speed are good. Balance... almost good, considering the bad back but Dit Da Jao helps, especially the home made kind from... one of "The Ol' Man" 's recipes! I am very thankful Gary, for the little bit ;D I have learned with you! Now, I just hope we don't have to wait another 20 years for the rest of the 5 animals... Huh, I still don't do Palm on my own. How about a couple of forms like "Short Stick" and "Two 'People' * form on the next DVD??? * Because I don't like to use the word "Man" when we know enough woman were doing KF, centuries ago... ;D Mic PS: "Stoners" I hope you are all getting your own DVD... It is worth every penny of it! Jay... no copying this one, The kids in Thailand need all the $ they can get!

Hi Guys, Just an update on the website, we have now set up an order form so it will be very simple to order your DVD. We have also submitted the demo video to you-tube with the name of the website on it. Any way I m glad you liked the video and I hope you will use it over and over again to perfect the forms. During all my time editing the video it seemed that I discovered some little thing that I had left out of the form, so you are always discovering new things within the forms. We are also listed in Google if you check out Choy Li Fut Mok Hung. Talk to you again soon.

Just thought I'd share with "y'all"... Brought Gary's DVD to my class yesterday evening. Ben Z (one teacher) had the TV/DVD set up for us to watch after doing our own class. Mike N (the lead teacher) was back (FINALLY back from fighting fires with his crew. Thanks guys!) We know KF but we mostly know where the "replay" button is on the remote control.
Your KF extended family with be watching you, Gary! Over and over again!

I don't know if turkeys are abundant in Thailand but... Gary can cook a mean Thanksgiving dinner! He cooked one, eons ago for the KF kids and even some of the Capoeira ones and my room-mate who was a true "Mountain Goat" (rock climbing abilities), from Angola. Gary, I think I sent you one or two of those old pictures, a while back. Liberty Bell and Stuffed Bear where on the pix... for the Hoggers toy run, remember? ;D We'll be waiting for gorgeous filming by Sigy and "Da Boss" smiling and showing off his playground.

Thanks Michele............ I'm working on the menu right now! I've gotten my pies & cakes ( Pumpkin, cheese cakes , etc,.) down to the point that shops want me to make them for them to sell........... as far as filming anything here, there isn't enough time for Sig to do anything more than enjoy himself ! We'll work on the combination, blackbird, palm later... I have to tell you what I have seen on youtube, etc, is a pure abomination of what they are supposed to be ! People send me things on e-mail and after I open them and watch for a few seconds I delete them as quickly as possible ! I have never seen such crap in my life !
If you have access to and can watch the shows called Human Weapon, try to cath the 2 Americans in Thailand to fight the Muay Thai fighters.......Terrific. I actually know a couple of the Thai trainers and during translations to the 2 Americans what they said is not what was translated.................. They paired them off against their weaker fighters and the Americans got their butts kicked..........

Wow, Gary... I did not know you were that good at baking! Too bad you are so jet lagged and my kitchen is so far away from Stoner Park. I'd let you cook and bake all you want. ;D Huh... providing you leave the kitchen as you found it... but I know you would. You are aware of your surroundings, hey hey! Over here, I tried to send some Dit Da Jao to my sick nephew but... being DDJ alcohol based; the US Post Office refuses to take the package... UPS would cost me an arm and a leg, IF they accepted to take it. I might just give my nephew one of the recipes and let him find a Chinatown in Paris! I know a great Vietnamese restaurant where I used to go pig out with buddies but... not sure about Chinatown. About YouTube and all that... yup, I have also seen some funky, sloppy, flower hand, unclear stuff but... hey, sometime it's a good laugh... FOR FREE! ;D just like the hilarious one you sent me about "why you shouldn't show what you know." It hurt just to watch it! I haven't watched TV since March in L.A. Too much BS, too much $ wasted on "Ego politics" and sensationalism while more and more people are un-employed, homeless and much worse (as in: on drugs, sick with no health insurance or ANY help from anyone, when it is most needed.) Sometimes, I really wonder what taxes I have paid since I started working have accomplished for others or myself... Besides feeding the "Greedies" who have their own retirement plan, health plan etc. etc. I live in a very large county with low population, long distance to any decent store, great for nature, hikes, peace and quiet but, when it comes to jobs... I have a few but "On Call basis" positions but with nepotism... I am at the bottom of the totem pole, along with all the folks that are not related to any old family or crooked local politician. We do have 3 different law enforcement agencies, just in my little town of +/- 3,000 people. They hassle, they don't tell the kids to wear a helmet while riding their bikes, don't tell tell to get of the sidewalk (while we pedestrians have to dodge them) AND... the Chief of Police drives home drunk from the local casino and... no one arrest him, ticket him for a DUI when he drives into the ditch! I'd love to do a "Citizen's arrest" on this guy! I sure hope the Feds are reading our forum. They might send the FBI to do some clean up around here! Then again... they might just look the other way... There is a lot more of the gossip business but why bother you... I can only hope to be at the RIGHT place, at the RIGHT time, to perform what I have learned over the years... We'll call it "Righteous act," just like... Robin Hood, Zorro, Patch Adams, and ... Jackieeeee! ;D Sorry, had to vent. Too many brain dead, small gene pool, small IQ syndrome, big EGOS, big MACHO syndrome; inflated with hot air and not much grey matter. All that happening in TOO MANY places! I am still thankful for every sunrise and sunset that I witness, along with acts of charity, starry night, compassion and... long lasting friendships. to all the good friends I have met through MA or elsewhere. Mic
