Just spoke with Jim & Jay and they told me that they have a schedule for our workouts in March..... Please give them a call for details or contact them on this forum so others can get the information also.
I can't tell you all how much I've been looking forward to this coming March ! To have the chance to workout with everyone again is something I don't take lightly, especially after turning 64 ...

Sort of losing track as to where to put messages... Gary, how do you deal with jetlag and teaching soon after you get to L.A. or back to Pattaya? When I visit East from where I live, I find myself wanting to train before the crack of dawn just because of restlessness. Somehow, it feels less of a burden when I travel West. Just curious, as usual!

Well, I try to deal with a 14 hour time difference, so usually after breakfast in L.A. I have to take a nap for a couple of hours and then I'm good until midafternoon and then another nap and I'm up until 11 pm, and then a solid sleep for about 3 - 4 hours.. Usually up at about 3 or 4 am......... I'm not really around long enough to make my body change time zones so I just sleep when I get tired........
I've tried everything but nothing works.. Going against the rotation of the earth is the problem.. I've asked airline pilots how they deal with it and they told me that they have the same problem , after a long haul they have 3 -4 days off before they have to fly again.

Hope most of you folks can make it to Stoner on Sunday for the workout. I want to cover the first five forms completely, break them down movement by movement along with all the applicable applications. That was a mouthful ! We'll also cover how to use your inner strength to make your techniques work. Sometimes it's frustrating watching these guys in the MMA and not doing all the movements that can be done.... My problem with that is that they are strictly one on one.. Most of the successful matches end on the ground in submission... That's great, but what if your attacker is not alone. I realize that certain moves are not allowed , but then how long before it turns into professional wrestling........... I'll have to check with my personal friend Freddie Mertz ! He used to be Freddie Blassie's roommate....

Thanks to everyone for having me feel so welcomed on this last trip ! If it weren't for all of you who have kept this style going there would be no need for me to make a trip of 15,000 miles ! It was great seeing everyone again, and thanks to Jim for organizing things and taking me in !! I'm looking forward to next year already !!
