Hello Everyone, For those concerned about Gary and the current situation in Thailand, I just spoke with him and he is fine. There was no internet, television, etc. for a few days, so communication was basically cut off. I also spoke with Sigy and he returned safely and hopefully we'll see him in class soon.

Gary, I thought I would make you envious... its 4:53pm on Saturday, where I am in N.E. CA. Outside temps are in the 20's and dropping. Last night, we had strong winds and snow while I was playing Cinderella cleaning a cooking stove I got for free. Before trying to repair it, I need to see below the crud. Wiring has to be hooked up and a turbine/motor that blows the hot air DOWN has to get remounted. Smart idea: hot air down! It's Canadian so, I trust it. ;D Yup, Steeve! This morning I was practicing Eagle claws with grabbing chopped Juniper wood for the next few days/nights. More snow coming, yikes! Stacking is a good game of aim too. By tonight, if I have nothing else to do... huh, I might work out, if I don't collapse, first! If it's nice and warm in Thailand, (70's or 80's), I might not want to hear about it! ;D Anybody still awake on the forum? Ah, Sil Lum life... never a dull moment! Warm hugs to all.

That's what kung fu spirit is all about mic.. I practice my forms between trials and on the weekends between surgeries. Even in scrubs we can get a few minutes in worth of practice.. ahahahaha. ;D

I rediscovered why northern styles of kung fu are so exhausting and active...To stay warm in the winter. I awoke to -17 degrees F air temp and didn't get above -5 in the sun today. I used kung fu to keep the blood moving and the toes and fingers warm. We're expecting -20 to -24 air temp for the low tonight. I see more intensive kung fu in my future! ;-)

Black Raven, My day from sunrise to sundown is non-stop moving around. I was being almost sarcastic with the work out at the end of my day. Braz, MINUS WHAT??? I cannot comprehend past freezing: cold is K-K-K-cold! Gary, Today, I went back to perfecting my "Snow Shoveling Form." 8 inches worth of a long driveway, with a fairly steep incline. Cross stances, low horses for balance and covering more ground; switching hands, direction, targets and using the cross stances to reposition myself and change direction. While all this is happening, one has to think quickly of where one wants the shovelful of snow to go. Pushing the shovel forward while the arms are resting near the waist is... a break, ha ha! I'm starting to throw snow at the base of my house to start the transformation into an igloo. When the wind blowing, maybe it will insulate! ;D I am doing my best to save my back while I HAVE TO bring in wood and prevent the snow from icing up and packing if I want to get to town and back. Meanwhile Skip the Dog races around at 25 MPH! I should teach him to carry a load of groceries up the hill just in case the car refuses to get up to the house. Working out, allright... every day! ;D

To all who are involved in this forum: Best wishes of Mental, spiritual and physical HEALTH, PEACE with oneself so we can be at peace with others and enough resources for food, water, and shelter. So many don't even have that. 2008 has been... "an experience." I can only hope for some CHANGES for the betterment of ALL BEINGS for 2009. Mic/Yoda (for some) ;D
