Sifu Gary
I was wondering if anyone having the knowledge and Wikipedia sense would go on there and link this place and any other GM Wong points of interest to his name . I went on there and it linked me to an artical about Splashing Hands and when you clicked on GM Wongs name it said that there was nothing at all linked to his name and that if you had knowledge about the subject you should add links . I can barely post messages but I felt compeled to want to do more .

I haven't written too much on wiki - I've edited a few things, nothing much. I do know that they have a self-help tutorial on the site so you should be able to click on it and then start. I believe you would have to register yourself as the editor of the site, that way you can moderate the changes and edit out the junk. It looks pretty simple but it takes a fair amount of time and there are quite a few kooks out there who would re-write your work. Look at the discussion pages to see what I mean. They keep all that posted so everyone can read the flame wars. I wouldn't mind helping, but someone would have to get a reasonable biography together first.

I don't know why , I guess because it should be noted in the books , but I never thanked you or the other Jim and Pat for saving the Stoner park class . back when the old swimming pool and the old pool house were being torn apart you and the other two went to the LA park and Rec guy to ask about were the class would be held and a scheduled for when the new building would be up . the story goes you guys were told there was no such contract with the parks and rec and the Kung Fu class was not even included in the parks programs . So , out of your own pockets you three had to be certified by the Park and Rec people and I assume attend some sort of classes to teach at the park . at the time you guys did this the attendance in the class was very low sometimes just a couple of folks and either Jim , Jim or Pat keeping the Family flag waving and unwavering . I just wanted to set the record straight or pay it forward but what you guys did was a great thing and I hope anybody lucky enough to attend the classes at Stoner Park appricate what is there .

Hi Everyone, Just wanted to say hello and let you know what's been happening... I've gotten mail asking why I've been so quiet... Well, to tell you the truth, I haven't been that great. I'm sure you've heard of Non-Hodgkins lymphoma. Well, I started Chemo but, the money ran out and everything stopped.. It came back and they want to start again to try to knock it out.. there is a great chance I can beat this , but I need some help.. Jim Stebinger was , is my confidant during all this, because I didn't want anybody to know..... It's past that point now, and I need your help... Jim is collecting money to help with the chemo & radiation and what have you and I don't know what more to say except, I really want to see you all again in April....... Thanks guys, it's been a great run !

I'm sorry to hear about your sickness and hope you feeling better. My dad has had the same illness for some time now. I'll keep you in my prayers.

Thank you all for your support. Things are on track and the healing is beginning. Meditation has put my mind at ease and I was ready for whatever outcome. thanks to your help I was able to start the treatment again and this time I think I can see it through to the end. I'm feeling better, and having worn my hair short was never a problem to begin with. Thanks again, I'll keep you posted on my progress.....................
